I've struggled with this a great deal. I just had to finally let it all go an let God lead me. Pretty hard when you're as stubborn as I am. I've tried all that "I'll go my own way" stuff before. It's a sham, despite what the young may think, but ironically, that's the great thing about being young, you have time to figure it out. I've known people who were dragged (yes, DRAGGED) to God, kicking and screaming (yet no one was actually doing the dragging literally). Me, I'm a lifelong believer, but not a lifelong understander. Its amazing what years teach when you refuse to let it be clouded by anger and selfishness (though yes, I have been quite selfish, it just left a really bad taste in my mouth and I had to spite it out!). The technology of our time may be different from what they had back then when the books of the Bible were written, but human nature never changes. We will always keep insisting that we go our own way.

Or a lack of patience in waiting for that asked advice to come. That's one of my peeves.
