Need god? you mean that asshole that says because i was born in a male body i am a man and if i change that i go to hell? the god that says i cannot be a lesbian or i go to hell? the god that caused witch hunts and the crusades? god im glad religion is dying out. (pun intended)

You know God wasn;t there for me, and I asked why? And then thought, hei lets test him, lets hate him, and see if something happens, if I'm being punished for this, and well, I wasn;t, I'm still not, life is the same if I say 'thanks god' today or raise a finger at the church the next morning.
And if he is there, well I have a big problem with him.

You may think that now, but what happens when the stuff in the book of Revalations finally comes to pass? Would you rather have an eternity of no more pain, no more sorrow or suffering, or be denied entry to the Kingdom of Heaven?
And may I ask in what way wasn't he there for you? I know he's been there for me plnty of times.

I dont want heaven, I dont find any pleasure in 'havin everything you want' , is just.. so boring you know? That is one of the reasons why I wont care if he is or not there, and if I end in pain and all others, this is it. If I have one life I;ll live it how I want to, not 'how I should to' .

well he wan't there to explain me how the brother I loved so much started to touch me.
And if I was sure I have more then one life I would have wasted this one killing my brother.

I'm so sorry to hear that. To be honest, I myself have had doubts at points in time, but there have been some things that are far to real to ignore. I understand what you mean when you think having everything you want would be boring, I completely agree, however that's not what I said. There will likely be things that you will not have in heaven, like those close to you that have been denied by God because they denied Him. Another thing is, God gave us all free will, and the way to gain His favour is NOT doing the right thing because you have to, nor is it praying rigidly or anything like that. It's something more, something personal that you have to discover for yourself. And God doesn't prevent bad thing from happening. We live in a broken world, and it'll stay broken until Jesus comes again. I want to know something now. Did you ask God why, or did you expect Him to just tell you?

So... I need a god who murders children daily in Africa, which by the way happens to be where I live? I need a God who tells me to be tolerant but in the same breath wants me to kill someone who doesn't keep the sabbath, or who is gay?
I need a god who wants me to be submissive and not teach others because I'm a woman?
I need a god who has insecurity issues because he requires me to praise him daily?

Matt... I'm old enough to know, that I don't need imaginary friends anymore.

I will say this however, as an artist, your typography skills are good. I only hope that one day you will use them for common sense as opposed to superstition.
